Author Topic: Can you have a gas stove next to a quartz backsplash without damage ?  (Read 11 times)

Our stove was installed today and the plumber mentioned that while it’s high enough to not damage the quartz counters, we may want to put something behind it so the backsplash (same quartz) doesn’t react to the heat. It’s possibly my design flaw and oversight as I designed my kitchen - but I wanted to get confirmation on here if that’s true, and any solutions (esp w/ photos) would be welcome.
