We had a designer design our primary bathroom to have Ipe wood walls (horizontal, like wooden rainscreen on home exteriors). We like the look, but have not been able to figure out where to buy material. Ipe specifically is very expensive, and anyway our contractor really doesn't want to stain and seal individual boards. The designer hasn't provided any advice other than to buy wood and put it on the walls, or use wood look tile (I'd prefer not to do either). Does anyone know of a source for this type of material?
