I had my heart set on a blue star until we went to Abt in Illinois. They started talking about the rebates on thermador and we got quotes on a 36 inch range, fridge, vent hood and dishwasher. The blue star bundle (Bosch fridge, DW, Best hood) was the same price as the thermador bundle. I’ve never been one to want matching sets so that’s irrelevant. However, he was getting us a free thermador hood, which with the blower was around $3K and 1000cfm vs 600 with the Best brand. My husband is pushing for the thermador bundle (which also makes Bosch) but I really wanted a blue star. I’m struggling.
