Celebs talk on the encounters they had with Traffic Cops
« on: September 18, 2022, 09:29:27 pm »
One day or the other, we have all encountered the wrath of the traffic police and have always bargained about the fines laid down on us.
On a lighter vein, we asked some of our Telly celebs about their traffic cop experience:

Nia Sharma: Yes, a similar thing happened a long time ago when I was not wearing my seat belt and I got noticed. No sooner did the cop on duty approached me, I just pushed a Rs 100 note in his hand and moved on. Here I mean to point out that laws are not that stringent here.

 Rithvik Dhanjani:
It so happened to me once when I got caught by a traffic police for two accounts; one for not wearing my seat belt and the second for not carrying the registration card of the new car that I had just bought (the registration card is delivered after two months). So I had my papers but not the card. When the cop approached me, he obviously recognized me. I should say that he was a genuine fan of mine; he did charge me for the seat belt offence but not for not having the registration card in my possession.

Krystle D'souza:
Since I have a chauffeur, I do not have to go through these kinds of hassles. But if ever I am caught, am sure that I will not be exempted from paying the fine. I mean there are bigger actors than me who have not been exempted and I personally think that the law is equal for everyone; so just because I am an actor does not mean that I wonít be made to pay a fine.

Shantanu Maheshwari:
No I havenít faced any such embarrassing moments till date. But even if I happen to make an offense I donít think they will be able to recognize me as I look diametrically different on television and in real life.

Asha Negi:
I have never encountered such a situation before but think the cops will charge me a fine for not following the traffic rules and regulations.

Kunal Karan Kapoor:
Yes, I remember having been caught once when I was not wearing a helmet. In recent times, I have not been caught.
