The pretty actress Ekroop Bedi, who rose to fame as 'Kookie' of Bani -ishq da kalma on Colors TV is currently playing the role SWEETY ,choti bahu in Sahara One's PHIR JEENE KI TAMANNA HAI. She has also worked in popular shows such as Dharampatni on Imagine and Rab se Sona Ishq on Zee TV.

Our beloved Ekroop in back on Television very soon with a colourful and interesting character. With the leap in Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai, the entire cast has been revamped. Ekroop plays parallel lead and is very excited to work for the show.When asked about her character she says," Sweety is beautiful , chulbluli and smart girl, dominating over her husband and at the same time dislikes her Mother-in-law who is the sole authority in their house. She reagrds herself as most beautiful.Her dream is to open her own Beauty parlour." The character is nothing like a dull boring Bahu of indian television ,but of a natkhat bahu, with shades of both grey and white.
We are looking forward to watch u again in this masaledar role, Ekroop! The show also stars Nivedita Tiwari and Anirudh Singh of Saraswatichandra fame as leads.
